Vi ricordate di Evil Ed, l'amico del protagonista in "Ammazzavampiri" (Fright Night, 1985) Non veramente, un filmbrutto, anzi era divertente, pero' il destino dell'attore, Stephen Geoffreys, è da puro trash.

Volevo comprare il dvd americano solo per vedere l'intervista in cui glielo svelavano.
Però mi sembra strano, io capisco che certi film li facevano per "questioni alimentari", ma non erano nemmeno curiosi di sapere chi stavano dirigendo?

Secondo Nick Nicholson, un attore de film che abbiamo intervistato, Fragasso era al corrente, come tutti sul set :

Ma ancora ci credi a questa favola?
Posso credere a qualcuno che ha fatto uno o due film o poche scene, ma la maggior parte non lo fa per necessità, così come non lo fanno i marchettari che dicono di essere etero.

Questo è un post che ha scritto un tizio che dice di averlo conosciuto:
I became acquainted with Stephen in New York (late 80's) about the time he I believe he was starting to get involved with drugs. I was never into his career or movies and just knew him through a friend. I learned of his career when my roommates recognized him from his "Fright Night" movie and asked me if it was him. I had no idea he had a promising acting life --at all. He had been nominated for a Tony award a few years prior. This I learned, while watching a taped Tony telecast over someone's house (Geoffrey wasn't there). My jaw dropped when I saw his face as they went over nominees for some type of Tony award. I explained to my friends that I was acquainted with this guy. Just a few months prior, I had purchased some furniture from him. While taking the train out to Queens to buy the furniture from him, I saw the tell tale signs that his situation was in decline. The apartment he was living in was in Astoria, and it was a crack den. I didn't know Stephen that well, so I freely gave him advice and plain out told him that I think he needed help and he shouldn't be afraid to ask for it. Stephen is a playful kind of guy, but although he heard me, I don't think he wanted to listen. He told me he more or less knew he had a problem, but he really wanted to do porn. He had fantasized about it, and despite all his career achievements, he was losing his hair, he wasn't getting regular work with his drug problem, so in his happy go lucky way, he simply wanted to do porn. That is why there are so many porn films in his IMDB roster. Without giving too much away, he's still alive. In SFO. I wish him the best, but he doesn't make himself easy to track down or communicate with--(this from the person who introduced me to him). So I guess he's doing as fine as he wants for now. He has not been an easy person to pin down.
